back from all my trips !

was really excited before gg rawa but to our dismay, it wasnt all that good as seen on the web. i wouldnt recommend the place to anyone unless you are thinking of gg on a trip just to relax and away from the urban life, with no tv, no telephone, an early night rest and waking up early in the morning.
i wld rather advise ppl to choose tioman or redang instead.

felt rather decieved by the pictures on web. the rooms arent that great and it is really small island. well, at least the beach scored some credits. and our what kept us busy and entertained in the day were kayaking, snorkeling, sun-tanning and bridge at night.

DAY 1.

woke at at 4ish am on sunday cos we were supposed to reach golden mile at 530. the bus left at 6 and we only took 2h plus to reach mersing jetty. took a speedboat from mersing to rawa and we arrived at 1130 but guests cld only check in aft 2pm. so we waited and waited for almost 5h and finally got our keys at 4pm. we were pissed, the receptionist was pissed cos every 30 min, we wld request the keys from her and all she wld say is :"not yet, not yet".

so half of the day was gone by just waiting and slacking on the hammock at the beach. when finally we check in to our rooms, we were appalled. it wasnt very bad but so much under our expectations.

activity on day 1 was practically just slacking, snorkeling and scrabble. and we slept damn early.

DAY 2.

started the day with an early breakfast, then headed off to kayak. jo's bro took the risk of bringing his cam so we cld capture nice photos of the island.

then, it was snorkeling again and jo was bitten by a fish and i tot he nearly drowned. ha.

DAY 3.

another round of kayaking ard the island agn and this time round, the waves were strong and we were gg in the direction against the current. exciting but terrifying at the same time.

then home sweet home! aft like 5h of bumpy bus ride. we nearly 'flew' out from our seats.
